SUMMARY:Independence Day 2024
DESCRIPTION:This year’s Independence Day started a little differently at Aradhana Home. We began our Independence Day celebrations this year by observing a minute’s silence to mark the sudden death of the lady doctor at R G Kar Hospital. We pray for her soul to rest in peace and hope that justice is done soon. \nThe celebration began with the hoisting of the national flag by the president & the secretary of the Organisation\, accompanied by the singing of the national anthem by the children of Aradhana Cottage home & Aradhana Open shelter. A patriotic speech was delivered by the president Mr. Gour Hari Bose about his experience of freedom of India as he witnessed the day when our country got free from the British rule and got the independence\, emphasizing the significance of Independence Day and the sacrifices made by freedom fighters.

SUMMARY:International Anti Drug Day 2024
DESCRIPTION:Aradhana IRCA run by Aradhana Social & Development Organization has observed the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking Or World Drug Day under the banner of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan with the theme : “The Evidence is clear: Invest in Prevention” in a befitting manner. In context of the observation of International Anti-Drug Day\, we congregate at Kanchari Maidan\, Barasat North 24 PGS\, West Bengal of program organized by Barasat District Police Authority at 7-30 am. Then we are marching towards in front of the stage and read to go for rally. Before starting rally honourable SP of Barasat Police District Authority has delivered a valuable speech on Drug awareness and prevention and further it is followed by felicitation program to honorable guests. Then a street drama is performed by some youth of renowned organization to spread awareness about pros and cons of drug addiction in our society and paves the way for prevention with Tagline “Say No To Drugs”. \nWe start our rally towards 8 a.m. under the surveillance of state police\, RAF\, followed by Police Band party with joyous manner from Kanchari Maidan. In part of the program we distribute leaflets among people to spread awareness about drug addiction and prevention. Throughout the rally announcing with mike and various placards\, posters about drug addiction and prevention enhance the significance of this remarkable day. Our rally ends at Rabindra Bhawan and district police authority organize a program regarding drug addiction and prevention process. SP of Barasat Police District Authority delivers a valuable speech on pros and cons of drug addiction and its effect on society. A cultural dance performance is done by the representatives of Aradhana Social & Development Organization. Then a power point presentation and some educational videos regarding drug addiction and prevention are telecasted in projector. Hourable MLA of Barasat Mr. Chiranjeet Chakraborty also delivers a short speech regarding drug addiction and its prevention from his personal experience. Then Psychiatrist of AIIMS Kalyani delivers a valuable speech various addiction related issues and its affect.  After the completion of programs tiffin are distributed among participants. The entire program is covered by various media and at the organization level. \nList of Photos are enclosed for reference. \nThis remarkable day is observed with peace and prosperity of society.
