Aradhana Social & Development Organisation

Aradhana Social & Development Organisation – 03 is a voluntary non-government organization working for a social change
through welfare activities of underprivileged poor people of the community. The society was registered with the Registrar of
Societies Act 1961, Govt. of West Bengal under registration number S/IL/15707 dated 5th June, 2003. Prior to registration the
society performed for a few years. The experience of pre-registration period enriched the performance of post registration period
significantly.
The registered address of the society was initially at Kolkata. Subsequently with increase of works at North 24 Parganas,
the registered address was changed at Nabin Sen Pally, P.O. – Nabapally, North 24 Parganas, Kolkata – 700126, with concurrence of
registration authority. The present work is being performed from the changed address and through the office of Aradhana Home & IRCA
at Sailen Moulik Sarani, Hridaypur, Kolkata – 700 127.The office is now continuing in a three storied building constructed after years of painstaking activities through owned fund, MP
LAD & MLA LAD fund, fund generated through help of well wishers. At present we are working with state government, state government
undertakings, and central govt. undertakings and in collaboration with good numbers of NGOs and social activists.
The organizational profile has since been enriched with various prestigious programs of both state and central Govt.
During the year we continued ongoing projects. We are successfully running ODIC & CPLI Drug Awareness training program with support
of Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment Govt. of India, for addicts in vulnerable areas of Kolkata, such as Rajabazar,
Parkcircus, Tangra, Topsia and Tiljala have been brought under this program. It is a challenging program through which the people
will be made aware about damaging aspect of drug addiction through AGP and propaganda.
We are proud of our associates who have enriched our activities throughout the year. We hope this will continue for the years ahead
with workers, well wishers and other social activists engaged whole heartedly for social change.

Vision, Mission & Goal of the organization :
Aradhana Social & Development Organisation – 03 is working for sustainable development of weaker Section of people specially woman
and children. Our target is to make target people socially and economically empowered through various plan and programs.
The parameter will increase with the increase of infrastructure of the organization and partnership with Departments working for
Human Resource development and Social & economic empowerment of deserving millions of under-privileged classes. We are committed
for improving conditions of women, children and aged persons. A.S.D.O.is working for achieving various broad activities.

We append below few of our objectives :

• i) Education for all.
• ii) Health care for beggars, distressed and needy people.
• iii) Support to the poor mother and child.
• iv) Vocational training for income generation, self-reliance and self-sustainability.
• v) Housing, sanitation, water supply etc. for rural development.
• vi) To create an environment for healthy lifestyle in rural as well as urban sector.
• vii) To help the aged and other people for their happy life.
• viii) To give various motivation training to the village youth so that they may take part in major change of the society.
• ix) To develop sports and cultural activities for physical and mental growth of the people.
• x) Construction of Old Age home for comfortable living of aged persons. Construction of Home for minor destitute girl child.
• xi) Shelter Home for distressed, beggers & homeless persons
• xii) AGP on drug and its dangerous effect on community people in Kolkata vulnerable areas.
