Aradhana Health Care Services

Aradhana social & Development Organisation, in collaboration with LIC Golden Jubilee Foundation are serving the people with their health care unit. The MMU is equipped with various medical equipments and staffed by healthcare professionals aiming to provide essential medical services throughout the North 24 Pgs. district as well as other districts of West Bengal. Our MMU will operate in remote areas providing free medical consultations, free medicine distribution, health awareness programs, emergency medical services etc.

Aradhana Open Shelter for boys

ASDO is running an open shelter for underprivileged boys in which boys under 18 years of age stays whole day, study and eats food all day and at the end of the day return to his own house. We hope the project will be a viable one in no time and we shall be in a position to render better services to the deserving boys in the community, such as rag pickers, deserted by guardians, vagabonds, street children, drug addict children etc.

Aradhana Home for orphan & destitute girls

Aradhana is running a Home for 50 destitute minor girls at one part of the building. The Social aspect of such HOME is tremendous considering problems of minor destitute girls. In the long journey of 16 years a huge number of minor destitute girls are benefitted through this residential venture.All the inmates of Aradhana Cottage Home are trained in Karate, Dance, Yoga, Singing etc.

Aradhana CPLI

Another very important project run by Aradhana is CPLI. Various studies reported that substance initiation begins at an early age due to vulnerabilities perpetuated through acute poverty, social inequalities and other social reasons.Children and adolescents living in the street, slums and homeless, become particularly vulnerable to substance use in such high risk circumstances. Through peer led intervention the aim is to reach children and early adolescents who are vulnerable children/ adolescents at the age group 10 – 18 who are non-users. There are 20 peer educators who take classes of the peer volunteers, motivate them for mainstreaming them in our society.

Aradhana ODIC

Aradhana is carrying Outreach & Drop-in Centre in vulnerable areas of Kolkata district among the vulnerable population, aged people, identification and target group selection. There is outreach activities, awareness programs, free doctor visit and medication, counselling happens on daily basis for the drug dependents. Through family counselling, the family members are aware about the harmful effects of using drugs. School awareness programs are held to aware the school students about drug abuse.
