In collaboration with department of woman and child development, government of West Bengal, a HOME of minor destitute girls is being continued for a good many years at its premises at Sailen Moullick Sarani, Hridaypur, Kol-700127. 50 minor destitute girls below 18 years are kept here for livelihood with all amenities, like shelter, food, supply of essential materials, maintenance of health, hygiene, sanitation and above all education from primary to graduation level as may be necessary for girls of outstanding career.

The district administration, child welfare committee and Department of Social Welfare, Govt. of West Bengal are responsible to send these beneficiaries at our HOME to stay with all service up to 18 years of age.

All the inmates are engaged in education, beginning from pre-primary up to higher Secondary level.

A good number of social activists came forward to help the students in study in outside schools. We convey our thanks to all of them.

All the dwellers are at present continuing their study. A good number of like minded NGOs and Social activists are also supplying educational materials and inputs from time to time to help the students.

The position of school going children school-wise and class-wise are appended below: in this connection we convey our heartfelt thanks to Shri Sunil Mukherjee the Chairman, Barasat Municipality who did much for admission of girls in outside schools.
